I think it’s beyond stupid that we are still holding the Olympics there. On top of all the reasons not to do it there they now have the Zika virus, it’s a sign to PULL OUT.

They get paid. You just have to pay them yourself. Gary Johnson would love it.

Yea whoever threw Rio in the hat in the first place ought to be slapped. Things have not been great there for a while.

As a Brazilian, the Zika thing is a bit of fear mongering, it only happens in the middle of the undeveloped countryside.
That being said, the police are going on strike, and Rio is inherently unsafe, the Olympics being held there is a very bad idea.

I guess if you don’t eat, drink, or leave the airport, you might be okay
Be a trifle boring, through

Really? I read that a pro golfer isn’t going because of Zika, not that that means anything. If I was a pro golfer there would have to be a pretty good chance that I would get the virus for me to not want to compete in the olympics.

Again, the fear-mongering. Is there an outbreak of Zika virus, yes, I’m not denying that, but the chances of someone getting it in a metropolis like Rio or São Paulo are pretty slim.

Gotcha same thing in the us, with stuff like H1N1. A couple of people get sick and before you know it the news is telling us that the plague is back and were all going to die. One of the main reasons I stay away from the news.

The entire Olympics deal is morally corrupt.
